Poem for Eric Hisaw’s performance at Triple Crown

Unknown Strangers
musical agents of danger
the night Johnny died we found the answer
sound romancer of the night
bound to strings still brings steel wings
free will pushing air’s velocity
musical heirs have records for publishing

Insight, like, Rock-n-Roll on microphones
midnight in a perfect world
lyrics cannot be left alone
since the purpose unfurls
like pedals made of blues tones

Love songs of a girl missed
life changing possibilities
whip idol pencils and guitars
for paths of reminiscence
drive farther than cars
or the number of shows at bars
exuberance in the wavelengths
can break the bank with thanks

I don’t have a tip, but here is a poem for a wonderful trip
your music drips from practiced riffs
